Where are your cruising grounds? I have 3006c with radar and thought about the xm weather module. If I didn't already have a Sirus receiver I might have sprung for the XM receiver being a little of gaget geek. My boat is in Maine where the weather can change pretty quick but I live outside Philly. It kind of cool to be able to listen to the local Eagles broad cast out on the water in the fall. I don't miss the weather maps especially since you can get weather radar on phones these days.

Skip,

You probably have more of a need for weather than I do. Up in Maine most of my cruising is harbor hoping. Did a Sunsail charter out of Tortola a few years back. Had it cut short a few days by Hurrican Jose. A great area to sail. Maybe one of these years I'll get back down. What kind of boat do you have?
