Maine's First Ship Returns

Four hundred years after she disappeared from the history books, the first ship built in Maine is about to stage a reappearance. On July 3, the keel will be laid in Bath for the reconstruction of Virginia, a 50-foot pinnace whose namesake was constructed in 1607, just a few miles down the Kennebec River in the ill-fated Popham colony.

I hope they have enough money to fund it, and she doesn't end up like the schooner Virginia

Heck! the Lady Washington a replica brig has picked up a coins by beinging in the first Pirates of the Carribean. But she is out of the State of Washington. She had tiller steering when I took a couple of trips on her. They wanted my license on board and I got to make a couple of trips for naught. But in the PoC movie she had wheel steering. Probably so Capt Jack Sparrow could look like he was steering when someone else was using the tiller... (maybe)
