why hasnt it been used again? i would think that a manufacturer could put this into a production boat as an option at least. Was this just too far ahead of its time? Does anyone know of one on the east coast?

Enter "Walker Wing Sail review" in your search bar. Solarnavigator.net has a good article about them. They were never a viable commercial venture. They do seem to, however, generate a good deal of interest.
