Musto, HL, Gill....best bibs?

Since out here in the bay area there's not a lot of shops with all of these brands to try on and check out, I thought I'd throw it out there. these bibs are in my price range and I'm curious to hear what y'all think.

Musto BR2 offshore bibs
Gill OS2

I have a Gill OS2 jacket that I quite like.

I really like my Helly Hansen Offshore bib. (Got a really good deal)

I've got a HL TP2 Phantom bib, I love it. Slept in it the other day, in fact.

I have the older TP1 HL's and have been very happy.

They're all fine choices. I have the Gill mostly because it fits me best. When I tried others, the medium was too small and the large was too big. Go figure....

HL TP2s here as well (bibs and jacket). Like em for generally warm and wet weather (50deg +). Bought them big enough to layer underneath, as necessary. I believe there are a couple of different sub-models and I don't recall which I have. They are on the boat right now.

I purchased the Musto BR2 jacket & pants recently and they are fine / No problems. Also recently purchased the BR1 Corsica Jacket, which is part of their 3 layer system with the BR2. Great little jacket, 100% waterproof & windproof which I wear to work on rainy days.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like I'd be ok with any of the choices...just wish that there was one place to actually try the suckers on.

I know West Marine carries both HL and Gill, but not all models.

Unfortunately, there is no one superstore in the Bay area that sells all the brands. If you want to try on Musto, you need to go to the Pineapple Sails loft in Alameda. I’m not sure, but Svendsen’s might have a couple of HH garments. West Marine in Alameda of course, has a good selection of Gill, Henry Lloyd, as well as their house brands.
