Soft Halyard or Line Shackle

I have come up with a variation on a soft shackle that can be used to attach a 12 strand line to anything without fumbling with the shackle as it is built into the line. A knot loop is permanently attached to whatever you will want to attach the line to. A openable eye is built into the 12 strand line and is the heart of the shackle. This would work with an Amsteel halyard or a variety of other lines. I am using it for my twings, preventer, and tack lines.
Soft Halyard Shackle

It is very fast to open and close, much faster than a soft shackle and perhaps faster than a normal snap shackle. The strength is 80-90% of line strength per my testing.
