How do I change or get rid of this flag ?

I don't remember doing anything about asking for a flag on my header.

Anyway as a Dutch Scottish Jamaican currently in Grenada I have a flag identity crisis but do know that I should not be 'flying' the Stars and Bars.

How do I change it.

I don't see a flag on your header, but if I understand your question: Click User CP above, then Details and either change your country or reset it to blank.

The display of country seems like it comes and goes.

Inoticed this yesterday, now this morning. Not sure where this little programing ideaology or what ever one wants to call it came from. Seems kind of useless to see it right after one posts, then later not. funky to say the least.

Apparently Sailnet "upgraded" the forum software. I also went looking at the user cp to see where I had set a "flag" option. Of course I hadn't...someone decided to data mine my country and display a flag based on that.

You have to go to the user cp and find "Country", then scroll ALL THE WAY UP to select the blank entry, in order to disable this. Which also unlists your country completely, collateral damage.

OTOH, Sailnet has been loading pages SO much faster in recent weeks...thank you, whoever made that happen.

Now if you'd only get rid of the AD SITES REQUIRING COOKIES on the home page. Blocking those ad cookies also prevents the home page from recognizing a returning user.
