Kitsap area launch recommendations

Hi, I have a Reinell 22 with a shoal keel that I recently acquired (Free from Craigs list) Yeah I know, not free for long, after I do some repairs I hope to launch into the Hood Canal near Seabeck, however I am not sure if that launch is steep enough. Any recommendations or experience with this launch or others in the area that you can share? We took our 12 foot Snark out there and had a blast but would feel more comfortable in something bigger, we think. Thank you, Dino. P.S. I know the Reinell is not the greatest boat in the world but it was free.... Really, with trailer... I plan to glass in where the port windows were and leaked and cut in some better port windows I picked up.

Dino, take a look at the ramps at Brownsville. If you need to get to the Hood Canal, it's only a day trip through Agate Pass and around Foulweather Bluff into the canal to the Seabeck area. You can break the trip up by pulling into Port Madison for a respite if you feel the need. Good luck.

blt2ski will become famous soon enough
I have not gone thru the website to see if the info in a spring edition is listed online. IIRC march has a WHAT is available thru out puget sound at most of the marina's, as far as launching facilities, either by ramp or hoist, fuel, guest/permanent moorage etc.

There is also a book out called "NW Burgee's" or some equal named item, this also has the marinas listed, along with Yacht Clubs at the marinas.
