Woo Hoo Sailnet for Android!

I've been doing SN mostly from my Android device, mostly with a browser, since I joined up. It ain't easy - the forward and back buttons are microscopic, for one thing.

This Android app is the ant's pants!

the Iphone App will be available any day now also - we're just finishing it up. Apple makes you jump through hoops to get a product in their store. Google is much easier with Android Apps.

Hm, I just installed it. However, I did hesitate a moment when I read what kind of access sailnet requires: I understand why you may want to know my location etc (target ads better to me ) but why do you need to know stuff about my phone ("phone state and identity")?

I try not to be paranoid about privacy but data grabs that make no apparent sense make me leary.
