After three years of polishing, cleaning and repair, my 302 is one of the prettiest girls on the dock and receives nothing but complements from fellow sailors who appreciate her heritage and the transformation.
And we all seem to be part of the same fraternity even though those Chevy and Dodge owners park their less attractive pick-up trucks next to my Ford.

Well I did buy one so obviously the other attributes trumped my view of the aesthetics.
I can pretty much say the same thing about my current boat, since if I was just buying what my eye liked, I'd probably have a Tartan 37 or Sabre 36, but my C36 has attributes that trump those boats great lines.
