how can i make the line run starboard.

so with my sailboat i have all my line running on the mast making it so that theres only two cleats on the mast for the 4 lines i use.
Toping lift, main sail, jib, spinnaker, so what do you all think about my running my lines starboard through and eye and then to a cleat nice and neat. i'll post a link of what i was thining. but how big of a backing plate would i have to put? the cricle or eye thing will hold mos the weight of the ropes that go through it and the cleat will hold it.

So my plan is to have the ropes run down to this and will do a 90degree turn through this to a cleat what do you think any other ideas i rather get every thing off the mast make it easier.

Are you talking about running the lines aft to the cockpit?

what is aft? just wonder and no the mast is in the forward of the cockpit. i want to try to get rid of the stuff on the mast becasue it gets ever were and confusing. i would rather have every thing go through a pulley or something and then to a cleat but on the starboard side Mistral 16 foot saliboat with trailer i have a this boat this pic isn't my boat but this is the boat i have. see on the right of the that open spot i would like to have every thing there. instead of on the mast as the two cleats are.

SBL,
No offense intended, but it's a little difficult to understand your posts due to the number of misspellings and lack of punctuation. Perhaps you could read the posts over a few times and correct some of that before posting.

I believe that you are trying to run your halyards (lines) aft (back to the cockpit) where you can control them easier. Right?

What you probably would want to do is get some stand up blocks.

Run the lines through the stand up blocks and then to an organizer.

After the organizer, you could run the lines through a rope clutch, or on a boat your size, simple cam cleats would probably work.

You would certainly want to use through bolts and suitable backing plates for these pieces of hardware.
I hope this helps.

sorry for my spelling. i like that pulley. look at the link i posted before. See how the cleats on the mast cleat off the rope? when i wanted to get rid of using those. I would Like to get the rope off from being tied onto the mast but through a pulley into a cleat. on the deck. i don't want to run it to the back of the boat. i just want to run it to the right of the mast. Would i run into any problem by doing that? Also like i sayed i would like to take for example the main halyard from the pulley at the top of the mast the rope comes all the way done. instead of cleating that to the mast cleat i would like it to go through a pulley to a cleat nice and neat no a mess of ropes on the mast. And make it so i can easily adjust one rope with out take another one off to get to it.

I get what you mean now.
I don't see any problem with that. Just use the standup block turn the line and put your cleat where ever you need to.
One question though, does your mast sit on deck or go through it? You have to keep in mind that when you add the standup block, you are in effect pulling up the deck at that point. If the mast is pushing down on the deck, then it won't be a problem. If not, you may need to tie the deck down somehow to keep from doing damage. Depending of course on how much you load up those lines.
On many keel stepped masts where the lines are led aft, there is a tie rod that ties the deck down to the mast.

no the mast doesn't go through the deck. it sits in a lil spot and a pin goes though the mast. and you it pivets thats how you raise it just pull the jib line from the front of the boat and the mast will pop up.

You should be in good shape to do as you plan then. Good luck. Take pictures.
