First Lesson! Bring on more!!!!

Ok so I had my first sailing lesson a private on a lido 14. Wow. I learned alot and have alot more to learn. I was jibing and tacking for 3 hours. I think I got the hang of it. Any tips that may help things stick better?

Congrats. I recall not being sure I ever wanted to go back after my first lesson. After the second, I was hooked, as things started to begin to make sense.

I just takes repetition and it will sink in.

Find a how to sail book, either online or in print. Look at it within a day or two after each lesson. The stuff in the book will mean much more to you *after* you've done it out on the water, than beforehand. And reading may give you some questions to take to the next lesson.

Take her out solo, get really scared, and everything that you do will stick.

I have a pretty good book. "The fast track to Cruising". I have re-read it already and yes it makes alot more sense.
