We're North of Washington and felt it, and just had a minor aftershock.
I was just starting the first day of my Advanced Cooking class, preparing for an awesome tasting exercise and showing a excerpt of a video, when the projector started moving a bit, then pretty intensely. My first thought was a terrorist attack, it wasn't long till I realized it was an earthquake.
We evacuated the building immediately after the trembling stopped. Unfortunately, the college closed so I had to throw all the stuff away for the tasting
I had experienced a few when I lived in California, but this was the largest for me...weird sheet.
Local news is reporting some damage but no serious injuries. Some facades have fallen here and there in DC. The worst right now seems to be traffic out of DC.
