Wow, all I can say is, you're a far braver man than I... (grin)
I cut my teeth in the delivery trade on early-generation Taiwanese boats, including that Captain Ron Stunt Double... Probably the only reason I'm still alive today, is that someone had the good sense to be sticking good old Ford Lehmans in the damn things...
And that was back when they were NEW, I can't imagine taking one today in that condition uphill to the PNW from SF...
Good luck, Charlie - hope that bowsprit is still there when you reach your final destination... Probably just me, but I wouldn't trust that rig even to support a towel hung out to dry... (grin)
