TD14 following Irene

Looks like Tropical Depression 14 will be taking the same path as Katia, just a bit more east and we may get another Irene. Update now a named storm "Maria"

I will be watching Maria closely over the next few days. Seems like I just got everything back in order after Irene!!!!

I suspect Maria will stay a tropical storm until north of Puerto Rico, Katia and Irene have extracted a lot of energy from the ocean already. Water temperature off the NJ shore is about 3 deg F lower than when Irene came through.
