Here's a link to info on the Imtra replacements I mentioned above.

IMTRA Marine Products

I bought one two years ago as a trial. Very happy and bought more this spring. Nice and bright, no RFI problems, and under $20 each at Defender.

+1 for Sensibulbs. If you can get to a boat show this fall they tend to make decent deals when purchasing more than one.

Can't agree with you there. I installed 2 of the new single-emitter Sensibulbs and got quite a bit of RFI--could not use the VHF with these on. Yet I had no problem with Marinebeam units in the same application. Made me wonder if the Sensibulbs weren't overdriving that single LED and causing the prob.

Send them back. Nick will take care of you. I have installed TONS of Sensibulbs on my own boat, and customers boats, and never once had any issues with noise, even on a couple boats with SSB's. Our own boat has about 16-17 single emitter Sensibulb's, red and warm white, and no issues with noise.

I've also installed quite a few Marine Beam bulbs and had noise so this seems quite different from the experiences I've had..?

LED technology is getting better all the time...
