I guess this is a good way to save on dropping the mast...

That one and a few others have been around while. One i saw new the other day, IIRC a video of an AC boat, literally on its side getting pulled under two bridges that were about 30', with the boats masts being WELL north of that amount! might have been here somewhere or SA!
