sailboats in the water
so i wanted to put the boat in the water a 16' mistral. so i asked my neibhor and he said sure i'll bring you to the ramp and help you launch it. he's a boater also since he was my age. so we got to the ramp setup the mast the boat every thing. then when were putting it down the ramp we get into one of the pot hole and when the wheel was coming out the axle snaped. and the wheel was on a angle and woudn't turn. so wee needed to get the boat in the water. thankfully the ramp was filled with algea and the tire just slid down the rest of the ramp and the boat was in the water.
then i started the motor and raised the sails wanted to make sure ever this was good. then motored away from the dock with the sails up was motoring into the wind and was motoring 3 quarter thottle to get through the harbor quickly and through the current. and then past the stone bridge i cut the motor rasied it out of the water and sailed about 3 miles about half way and the wind just died.
so i filled up the motor and started motoring closer to shore and huging the shore line all the way till i got to the mooring. had the music blasted and was having a great time just making head way. there was kayaks going faster then me but i didn't care, i was having a great time. so i got to the mooring and locked the boat up and left.
the end of the story for the trailer my neibhor brought it home. he tied a piece of wood to the trailer to act like a sled. so he went on the main road and the wheel after 10 mins of smoking an screetching the tire finally blew out. then there was just black smoke for the rest of the way because of the tire rubing on the ground. he use a 4x4 for the sled if the wheel poped and the 4x4 was perfectly square now it had a 45 degree angle on it from it being uses like a sled. theres marks on the road from the boat ramp to my house.
so today i took the axle off and going to put another on tomarrow
