I love how they yell at the whale to let it go.

I bet that would never have happened if he had a Rocna!

We heard of one a few years back where a good sized ray took a boat for a ride in the Ft. Pierce inlet. Not quite as dramatic, but certainly entertaining in a scary sort of way.

So what do we need now... anchors which taste crappy?

(The new Rocna - holds like mad, tastes real bad! )

Obviously, if the captain had prepared better contingency plans, and of course, purchased a different brand anchor and/or rode, this wouldn't have happened. Where is this guy, and why hasn't he logged into Sailnet to be berated endlessly??? Some people....sheesh.

On a more serious note, I wonder if the whales were "playing" with the boat, or if he'd dropped anchor in their nesting grounds, or???

It's improper to anchor to whales. Don't let Greenpeace hear about it.
