Find pic of boom from 1977 C&C 26 that I recently purchased.
After speaking to previous owner, he advised this was in placed when he
purchased boat about 10 yrs ago. He advised not sure what it was so just left it there, has no use to the sailing part except maybe a little head banging
buffer. Not sure I like that answer so if anyone out there can help would be very appreciated.
It certainly wouldn't seem to serve any other purpose.. it's rather unsightly.. I'd leave it off.
