1974 Ranger 26'

You're absolutely correct, but my concern is that I have all the parts and rigging that I need. Hoping a owners manual would verify my concerns. The only work that it really needs is a soft deck. The hull is superior, but the deck needs work. I have looked online and there is a number of injection proceedures that can possibly remediate the problem. Apparently, this has no factor on the sailability of the vessel. Once I can fix this, it will be a sweet boat. I can't wait till next spring. The season is over in Ohio.
Thanks for your comments. I'm learming more every day.

Here's a shot of the page that list the standing rigging. Should give you an idea of what to expect. Of course, if the mast is down and has been for awhile you'll need to check that no turnbuckles, etc. have been lost.

Have fun with the deck project. I'm leery of the injection-style repairs, but if the area is not too large or soft it might be worth a shot.
