icw from cocoa to ft. pierce fl

I am on a boat with a 64' air draft and wondered if anyone has taken this route recently. The posted clearance is 65' but heard the water is high and there is no tide most of the way to ft. pierce. If anyone with local knowledge of the actual clearance could let me know I would appreciate it.
thank you, Cbarg

LarryandSusanMacDonald will become famous soon enough
Arrived in Vero the day before T'day. Yeah, you are right to be concerned - at high, some are going to be squeaky - we saw several at 62' / 63'. You may have to wait for lower water to get through some - or head outside - maybe at Canaveral - or back north to Ponce. Coming in at Ft. Pierce can sometimes be treacherous. Watch the winds and tides. We've been in an out Ft. Pierce many times, but sometimes had to wait for favorable conditions.

Don't forget, there's a fixed bridge on the south side of the Ft Pierce Inlet (before the City Marina).
