A sailor's Christmas list

I'm putting together a "Low-Buck" Christmas list.
Here's the challenge:
I need your ideas on the best gifts for a sailor for a: Under $50
b: Under $25
c: Under $10

Thanks

I'm all for gift certificates. People think them impersonal but I'd rather be able to buy what I need rather than receive what you think I want.

I also like practical gifts. If I was giving a gift with those parameters I'd probably put together a basket of similar items. For example, a "Rescue Basket" with duct tape, various sealants, tube of epoxy, other little stuff for quick repairs. Or an "At Anchor Basket" with a bottle of wine, iTunes gift card, cheese, nautical-themed napkins, crackers.

Gift certificates to marinas and or marina restaurants the sailor might visit.

If you have a Barnes and Noble membership, you can get the latest edition of Chapman for around $35.

My birthday is this week (50, thank you). I had a party Saturday (sorry you missed it!). I was happy to recieve gift certificates and bottles of high quality rum. I'll spend about $25 a bottle for myself, anything more I wish for as gifts.

Here's a few ideas that I like:

Forespar's TruPlug is widely available for less than $20.

Sailing gloves (extra pairs are always great to have around as spares and for guests)

I'm hijacking my own post, but when I first saw a Truplug in my local chandlery, I said to myself, "I have finally found one piece of gear that I will NOT have on board- it would just require WAAAAAAAYYYYYY too much explaining."

Good point! My kids have a blast playing with it. They think it's some mis-shaped Nerf football. Still, I like having it onboard.

oooh, i like that- give me three rum choices, please, one in each category.
(Yeah I know, no self-respecting sailor would drink sub-10-buck rum... but that is what we serve guests whom we don't wish to return, or who return too often.)
