I was part of the design team for this Oliver Hazard Perry (FFG7) back in the 1970s:

What a mess! We saw the hulk moored in Newport, and it looked better then than in the picture above. They may be able to do something with bulwarks creating a sheer, more volume, and a better looking profile, but I'm not holding my breath.
