C&C 30 head sail identification

This new boat of mine came with some head sails I dont kn ow anything about. Here is a head sail that has a reefing point. does anybody know if this is a storm Jib or a heavy weather sail? or a racing sail?

Any advice? Thanks

It looks like a working jib, measure the length from the clew to the luff and you can tell us what size it is. My guess is a 110%.

When I bought my C&C30 back when, the sail inventory included a 110% with a reef point like this, allows you to reef the jib to like a 90%. I tried it once, then forgot about it. I dont think sailmakers or sail buyers do reefs in jibs anymore

We had an older C&C design years back that came with a reefable jib as well... we used it now and again but it's far from ideal, though perhaps arguably better than a partially rolled furling jib. Reefing would involve retying the sheet onto the 'new' clew as well as gathering the extra sail with ties. It was a somewhat bulky thing to tack but did give us that extra shortening of sail when we needed it.

We did not get a reef in its eventual replacement..

This is an all hank on boat. Not sure if the sails one you can see thru, Some are very heavy, some are very thin.

If a dirty bottom slows you down what do you think it does to your boat
