I like this 52 minute video about the volvo ocean race because it starts with cruiser's drinking and playing cards to the high-tech athletes that dominate today. The transformation of boats and crews is amazing. Also the cultural shift about women sailors was both shocking and good to see for someone who grew up after that time in sailing history.
Stormy weather - YouTube
A cruising yacht wallowing in the waves. The video is sickening to watch, but the comments are even more mind blowing. (45 seconds)

Before purchasing a boat, I have to prevent my girlfriend from seeing 'Rough Weather Sailing' and 'Stormy weather'... She would freak out
Don't show her these ones! LOL!
The first clip of the sailboat rollover has a better clip with an explanation of the rescue and the other rescue boat not shown here was also capsized and they had to be rescued. Enjoy.
