I'm in the process of making some major changes on my Morgan 33 O.I., one of which is switching from a wind generator to solar power. There are too many days in my part of the bay when the wind is just not sufficient to run the wind generator. Unfortunately, the wind-brake and tie-down did not hold during the 2011 hurricane, and consequently, one of the blades snapped and the vibration took out the hub. The generator is still functional, but it need a new set of blades and a hub.

If anyone in the upper bay area is interested, let me know by emailing me at travlin_easy@verizon.net. Yep, you can have it, the instruction manual, etc..--it's free. However, I'm not going to ship it out. If you want it you'll have to come and get it. If no one seems interested by New Year's Eve, it's headed for the landfill.

Looks like someone will be picking up the Wind Generator on Friday. If this doesn't work out, I'll post the results.
