I blog the story of the Lafitte 44
I have never written down the story of the Lafitte projects. I left them out of my book intentionally. There were just a few elements to the story that I have not been comfortable telling until now. I was 30 years old then and I am 65 years old now. I think I have proven that I can design yachts and if I acted like many 30 year olds during the 70's then so be it. "Mayo ban fa chin tsai" the Chinese would say. Meaning "there is nothing I can do about it now".
