Mystery Boat?
Hello All
I am wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of boat this is so I can do some research on it before making the trip to see it. Sailboat Hard to tell from picture but it appears to be a shoal draft with an outboard rudder. The owners doesn't even know what it is (weird) It looks to be 25-27 footer with a decent price tag (been sitting 2 years) Trailers for those length boats start at $3000 ADD a $500 cradle... Anyway thanks in advance and Happy New Year! |
I'm thinking Paceship PY23 or ODay 23 or some such.. the coamings don't look exactly right, but I don't think it's much bigger than that.
Looks like Ray Hunt's work, whoever built it... |
My nickel is on O'Day 22. Shoal keel, rounded cabin top, windows look about right, reverse transom.
When you go to the picture, click on the word "sailboats" right before the ad id. Just a couple down the list is another O'Day 22 for you to pull up the pics and compare. HTH p.s. Tony wants 3000 which seems a little steep, so there should be some wiggle room ;) |

Don't think so, owner said it had standing head room.
Thank you |

It really looks like a Hunt boat, but on the Paceship and the Oday the coamings sweep higher where they join the house. Quote:

If you're looking for a low-cost first boat with standing headroom, this might be worth checking out:
