Miami boat show is in the convention center. The Strictly Sail is bay side. Ticket for one is a ticket for all. Remember to take the free bus to the other.

My wife and I plan on going. The website said something about a learning to sail seminar among others, and actually getting to go out on a boat in the bay. I think that is what we will be checking out, bc are just starting out on this whole venture. We will be driving up from Key Largo

Definitely check out the Strictly Sail part of the show....the last few years there have been some really interesting boats there in addition to the standard production boats, and there's always a great collection of vendors - most offering good boat show discounts. I got a set of new portlights last year and saved some $$$$$.

Check the website for registration for the sailing opportunities and seminars and sign up early.

Are there a lot of Sailboats at the Miami show?

I am new to sailing and would like to see a variety of sailboats. I know there are a few boat shows throughout the year that actually have sailboats. How does the Miami show rate for sailboats?

We are definitely going for a day or two. We have never been to a boat show yet and have been looking forward to it for some time now.
