Removal of Painted name from Awlgrip Hull

Any advice on how one would go about this would be appreciated.

easy off oven cleaner will work, if you are sure it is awlgrip...

Agree with both above. Personally I saw quite good results with Easy Off oven cleaner. Sprayed it on and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Wiped off with paper towels then rinsed with fresh water.

I just removed the name from a boat we purchased. It was a vinyl decal and the 3M Stripe Off wheel did a great job.

If it is truly painted on this might not work though.
