Tpi Composites Sundeer?

Saw this boat just down the channel from a friends house! There were other really impressive boats as well, but i'd never heard of a Sundeer before. Evidently they are great blue water boats? Not sure JonE would condone the ports on the sides, but she was pretty none-the-less! The HUGE chain plate was interesting with HUGE recessed and slotted "screws/bolts"....

Anyone have any first hand experience on one?

Steve and Linda Dashew, very experienced offshore sailors were the principles behind the Deerfoot and Sundeer lines.. off shore boats by people that knew what worked (for them, anyway...) Certainly not of the 'heavier is better' mindset..

A 60 footer seems pretty big for a couple to handle. I'm guessing that's the intent with this boat then? I can't remember the other 60 footers that I saw that weekend, but man that's ALOT of boat!
