Help me with a project for my son!?!

So I am in the middle of making a nautical themed bedroom for my 1.5 year old, im pulling out all the stops on this one, Old nautical chart wall mural, custom built wood sailboat bed, teak and holly faux flooring, sail cloth ceiling fan.... two things I am hoping you guys can help me with are as follows:

the window curtain behind his bed will be made to look like an old square sail, instead of just having the regular pull string to open i want to set it up with rigging and blocks to open it up, I'm looking for old blocks, winch, anything like that, if you have any laying around catching dust, old or not lets make a deal.

Also looking for an old ragged well used life ring buoy!!
