Sea Eagle inflatables
ricekrgr,
I purchased a Sea Eagle inflatable two years ago to use with my 26 footer on several trips I''ve taken. I''m very happy with the boat. The roll up model I have is only 7-1/2ft,but works great for my use.The boat has three air chambers, robust fill valves, laminated wood transom and bench seat, and a built in laminated wood slat floor. The only complaint I have with mine is that it doesn''t track as well as I would like, but it''s no big deal.I noticed on Sea Eagles website that they have changed the boat that I bought to include a inflatable keel which I imagine would greatly improve tracking. After a trip down in the Keys,I noticed that the self-bailing valve in the transom had a crack in it. I don''t know how it happened,or if it was a defect but when I returned home I contacted Sea Eagle and they sent me a new one at no cost, no questions asked. If I had to choose over again, I would still buy the boat I have.Besides, Sea Eagle has a pretty cool cap you get with a purchase, so how can you turn down a deal like that? 8^)
