I got to know what boat this is.

I saw this wonderful sail boat in a marina in Florida. I guess it to be about 42ft. Does anybody have a guess on what kind it might be?

I don't think so - the portlights are different, the winch positions are different and it doesn't have the Hinckley "signature" on the sides of the bow. It looks familiar but I can't place it. I'd like to know also - anyone?

Hinkley Souwester 42.
Not a bad guess. But she had a shorter cockpit, and four small open ports. Her bow was nice and proud as it lifts up. (which is not easy to see in the photo). I was in such a hurry that day, that I didn't leave the owner a note, which would have been the easy way to find out. First I thought of a Passport 41, it sort of looks like a Perry design.

CAL-40.
The shear line of the CAL-40 is spot on, same proud bow and slight overhang on the stern. The cabin top was longer though, and the cockpit shorter.

It's not a Cal 40.
Radiance, from the pics it looks like a retroussé stern (which neither the Hinckley or Cal have), or is it just the photo??

The stern is similar to the Cal-40. It must just be the photo that tricks the eye.

Not Cal 40, agree.. foredeck hatch location is wrong, and the boat looks longer than that. The aftermost cabin windows are a match, though, as is the sheer, and she looks like a Lapworth.. could it be a custom 45ish from good old Bill?
