Cardiac Paul has passed away

I was told this morning that long time member Cardiac Paul passed away last evening. No details are available at this time. For those of us who knew him and enjoyed his irreverent and irascible posts, it's a sad morning.

PalmettoSailor will become famous soon enough
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.

RIP Paul.

So sad to hear. He was a great contributor and a great guy. Hopefully he and Imagine2Frolic are sailing the elusive perfect reach somewhere...

This is sad. Just returning to SN after many years. I remember Paul in the early days in the "fight club". Loved his rants & poking @ surfesq. Fun. Fair winds Paul and condolences to "The Cuban".
