I need some good news.

Two obituaries in two days. I need some GOOD news for a change.
Who's knocked up? Anybody expecting new grandkids?
Anybody wanna get knocked up?
Anybody get a promotion, or a new boat, or win the lottery?

So true. A reminder that we should appreciate this life while we still can.

Minnewaska will become famous soon enough
The boat yard called while replacing an engine mount that required removal of the after cooler on the turbo. They noticed the vanes were corroded and I need to replace them for $1,000 plus labor.

I am so happy that they found this problem and relieved the pressure of what to do with that spare grand that has been lying around.

Great day indeed.........

Truth is that a failure really would have been a very expensive problem, so it is a silver lining. I would not have inspected it without needing the new mount. I'm just trying to remind myself of that.

Jeanneau 54DS

In the harsh marine environment, something is always in need of repair. Margaritas fix everything.
