Congrats! You are in for life changes you can't comprehend right now. When you start getting hugs from little arms around your neck in a couple of years you'll truly understand the meaning of life.

You have a very good interior for living aboard with a baby - that single foc'sle berth is a perfect spot for a little one.

Congrats on the new crew member,
mine look forward to summers on the boat, my 13yo girl asked me if she could stay all summer at the marina and be on the boat.

Of course i replied, and so were both clear when I head out for a few days, your either in the v berth or tenting it at the dock.

Why would I leave my room, its just as nice anywhere else was her answer.

So partial crew already assigned for the season

I'm pretty sure you have to hoist them up in the car seat/carrier for at least the first couple months. Imagine though, once they're old enough to crawl, how great they'll be at bilge cleaning!
