On a lighthearted note ...
Yesterday, through the night and now today ..... NO SOCKS!
May not seem like a big deal, but when your feet have been frostbitten, it's a welcome step t'wards spring.

I should be putting mine away for good, once I sever the big yellow umbilical cord this spring. It was either stop and work, or keep going and let the government pay my way. I prefer wearing the socks.

actualy found my shoes the other month when cleaning out the aft cockpit locker, they were nice brown leather...when found were green and mouldy  oh the joy of two pairs of rubber thongs one pair for every day use and one pair of dress thongs.

Gotta have dem dress flip-flops. Actually though, what I wear most often are hard soled moccasins. Technically, bedroom slippers.

You might want to change "thongs" to "flip-flops" just to prevent anyone else from getting the same unfortunate mental image I just got.
Anybody got a jug of mind-bleach? PBs frostbite and Simon's thongs combine to conjure a transvestite Donner party.

Sorry Dr. Jones - I got the same mental image as you - I just don't have the social filter that you have - and it takes a while to source those images. Now I have to not only bleach my mind but clear my search history, temp files and cookies.....
