Adding reflector to augment Solar

I am considering adding two reflector panels (that will only be deployed in low wind days) alongside my solar panels mounted on the Bimini. They will have limited movement for some hourly adjustment. Does it appear to have any value?

Think the neck tanners from the 1950's

No reason why it would not work. I would suggest you try it without first to see whether you need the boost. Makes more sense to do everything you can to avoid shading. Even the shadow of the backstay can have a serious effect.

Re: Adding reflector to augment Solar

Just something to be aware of here is that the increased heat caused by reflectors could have a bad impact on your panels on very bright days.

I'd ask Mr. Google about it
