One Simple Question - the movie

Last night I attended a presentation by Teresa Carey and Ben Eriksen about their voyage in search of an iceberg (and other things) last summer. The movie they made along the way, "One Simple Question", will be out soon and from the trailer they showed, it looks like it will be great.

They are both wonderful speakers and if you have a chance to catch one of their talks or the movie, don't pass it up. It was nice to see two young people that obviously love the sailing life and each other. The example they set regarding seizing the moment and living a simpler life is worth trying to emulate, even if you're closer in age to the grey/no-haired Mystic Seaport audience from last night (I fit right in with that crowd!)

Simple Question Movie - an independent film about adventure, simplicity and happiness .

P.S - I have no connection whatsoever with Ben or Teresa - I'm just a fanboy.

Re: One Simple Question - the movie

So, I've been following Teresa and Ben for awhile mainly because they are former Nor'sea owners. Now I have a simple question. What is the simple question that the movie alludes to?

I thought the question was "can we find an iceberg?"

Heck, If all they are looking for is an iceberg, I can see several right now just a couple of miles across the sound.

We did circle it a couple times before we launched the dinghy, but that was more checking to make sure it looked solid enough to walk on. It was good and solid. I chipped away some ice to bring back for margaritas.

Speaking of wildlife though, I found these guys hanging out on another berg...

I think those guys were waiting for the polar bear to get you then they would do the clean up. I'm not so sure I would step on a chunk of floating ice.
