The point that I forgot to mention in my earlier post is that from G "1 BL" off the northern tip of Block Island, the heading is 090 T (105 M) to Nantucket. About 1/2 way you would encounter Nomans Land, then, the south coast of Nantucket.

Of course if you were drunk, then I am sure that The Coasties, or any other LEO would be happy to help bring you in.

I watched it, actually the wife started (she is a therapist) and switched and I said hold on there is a sailboat. I don't think the boat looked to be 74 foot big either, but that could have been TV. It was complete BS either the therapist was a lousy captain, or it was all set up for TV. No reason to sit for 10 hours to wait for a guide (sea tow) to bring them into the harbor IMHO. Especially not with a working motor, perhaps if there motor was not, but I would assume he had charts.
