Your favorite IPhone apps for sailing?
On a recent cruise, one of the crew had his IPhone out pointed at the sky. He had loaded a stars and planets display. Point it at a celestial body and it told you the name, altitude, declination for that time. Very cool indeed. What are your favorite IPhone apps for sailing.

thanks, JD. I couldn't remember the name. Nice Cape Dory. Way back, I started out on the Ty, then the 25, and finally the 27. Great boats and sound sailors.

I use SkyView which does that.

Navionics app. Same charts you'll find on a Ray plotter and turns my phone and iPad into backups. Wind alert and wind guru. Shralptide. Sailnet of course.

Navionics iPhone and iPad App. Do sync data and Tracks, Routes and Marks are on both.
