Well, post you *&%#@ sailing stories...

Go ahead,
Tell me how wonderful it is out there right now. Put up pictures of that perfect anchorage that you had all to yourself, shared only with your better half. Tell me about burying your rail or surfing down the face of a wave with the salty water splashing your face having the best sail you've had in years.

Go ahead... I just hope when it was all over that your beer was warm and your lips got sunburned is all.:D:D

You should bear in mind that while you may be having a great start to the season, there are those of us that are suffering horribly until we can get back on the water. Five more weeks in my own case!!!

So, go ahead and rub it in.(Your stories are keeping me afloat in the mean time:) )

Yesterday I took the maiden voyage in my new-to-me Cal 2-27. We went 25 miles north on the Chesapeake, with 6-8 knots at our back the whole time. Perfect all around. Sorry.

Here's a picture from between the spans of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (a view I'd never seen before.)

Wow! Love the photo. I hope to update mine in the next few months, but here's one from a couple years ago.

Ooo this thread is great temptation to lie and spin a yarn....but nope, here on South Shore Long Island there have been a few days and I know a few people have been out but it has generally been kinda iffy and only today did it really become tempting as the temperature hit about 56 and the wind lay down abit. My boom is in the shop so now I am determined to simplify intentions and just get one coat on betore hanging it back on
no yachty perfection by god....time for wind and spray in the face ...... be of good faith it season will be early this year!

Scratchee and Travlineasy,
Great photos! I moved to Maryland last year. Left my boat in St. Petersburg Florida back in December. I am headed down to Fl. in May to bring the boat around Fl. and up to the chesapeake. I am really looking forward to seeing that bridge from the water.

Oysterman23,
you can lie to me, I'm ok with that as long as it's a good story :)
