Wind Map

I just put together a web page that shows local wind reports on a map with direction and strength along with a table of the details. The reports are from both the Buoy Data center and data from all the Airports. It is not exactly US only, but close. I would appreciate any feedback as this is a new page and I need to hear about any problems people have. Wind Map - Cick on your location

Here is a map set up for back east Wind Map - Norfolk, VA

I welcome all feedback.

Re: Wind Map

I noticed from my logs that some of the places people are looking at don't have the density of stations that we have here in SF Bay. I am going to add the local station database. This will increase the density. I will post an update when that is done. It should make the maps more interesting.

Re: Wind Map

Really cool. Thanks! Too bad there isn't a higher density in Boston.

Re: Wind Map

Here is a version that includes more reporting stations (higher density). This link is set for Boston but you can reposition it for anywhere.
