TWIC Card, anyone?

Does anyone have a TWIC Card? Is it useful to obtain one?

I am not sure if I should wait until I have enough sea time to get one.

There is no advantage to having a TWIC unless required for employment. The CG recently dropped the requirement for maintaining a TWIC for most licenses (though you still need to go through the TWIC process for the background checks).

Re: TWIC Card, anyone?

EGG-cellent. Thanks. I guess I was looking at an outdated merchant training center.
