Handling characterstics Morgan 24?

I've recently blundered into what may be a very affordable Morgan 24 and wondered if any of you all have sailed them in the past and would comment on the boat....Please keep it to apples and apples or comparables (thanks)

If this is the boat you mean: MORGAN 24/25 sailboat specifications and details on sailboatdata.com
then I'll not talk apples but comparables.
My boat is a bit similar in design and is quite comfortable if reefed properly when conditions merit: TARTAN 27 sailboat specifications and details on sailboatdata.com

A center board boat on the Great South Bay is the way to go.

Re: Handling characterstics Morgan 24?

years ago. My dad was a yacht broker, we were a Morgan dealer.

The 24 was a decent all-round sailor, reasonably quick, not a bad MORC racer back in the day and fine for pocket cruising.
