Battery Interconnects Wire Size With Inverter

I have a 1987 Catalina 34. Working on a few electrical upgrades before launching for the spring in the Midwest.

My new 1800 W charger/inverter calls for 2/0 minimum cable from the battery. I have 1/0 between 4 6V T105s in series-parallel. I also have 1/0 from the negative to a battery monitor shunt to the common ground bus bar. With the addition of the inverter, do I need to upgrade the battery interconnects with 2/0 as well or is there some reason this is not necessary (negative side cable distance loss, series-parallel battery behavior)? What about the wiring for the shunt assuming I place the inverter properly to be monitored?
