This my dog....

Tzuey... TzuBacca... My ShihTzu Buddy....Shihtzuian Nap Hound...

Goes everywhere with me... Real mellow...sleeps more than the cats do..

Only picture on the boat (I'll get more) ...I did have to make him a custom sized life jacket...Too big for the X Small and lost in the Small...

Re: Lets see your boat pets

CruisingDad - I see you're in Florida....how does Fatty handle the heat spending the day on the boat?

My brother had bulldogs...during the worst of our Texas summers they stayed inside unless going out to do their business.

I'm considering a bulldog myself, but the heat is a concern.

Buster taking it easy after a hard day at sea.

Trying to place the photo. Is that Nenaimo's designated anchorage?

Re: Lets see your boat pets

Bella likes long walks on the foredeck and a nice Zinfandel in the evening. She goes "Catatonic" on sailing trips .

Re: Lets see your boat pets

Rascal is a Jack Russell terrier who liked to jump into the water to chase swans and fish - before we got wise and put a tether on him. We can thank him for several unplanned MOB drills.

Great question! And what if you have THREE cats? (See pics of the crew below.) Short answer is: live on a cat, which has space for the cats. Longer answer: follow this link for a blog post about how our cats have adjusted to full-time cruising: more JOY everywhere!: Home Is Where the Cats Are
