First Trip on Puget Sound

Took my first trip on the sound over th weekend. First impression: It is a giant lake!!! I get more wave action in my bathtub!

We did get out by Hope Island where some poor motorboater had run out of gas and lost his oars. No kidding. We towed him back in. Funny story, but Ii will leave it at that.

Pretty water up in the PNW. I even saw the sky for a few minutes. Made me realize its time to head south again. SO, I am supposed to be out of here tomorrow for FL (flights allowing).

If you have any complaints, please send them to: Tdw.

If you have any de-icing tips, please send them to: Faster.

If you have racing tips or are delusional enough to need a run down on why anyone in their right mind would think that a Catalina 400 is the finst yacht in the world: Jeff_h.

Compliments to me and anything really nasty goes to the administrator!!

Take care all.

Brian

SO THAT"S WHY it has been wet up here! We go one of them sailnet murderators on the water around here......grrrrrrrr...........double grrrrrrrrrrrgrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Not sure what your problem was, had some great wind, then a shift, little wind, shift, great wind, waves.........liquid sunshine, orange sunshine ball, more liquid sunshine......all in about 1.5 hrs tonight a bit north during the race tonight! Not sure what your problem is in OIlympia, capital of WashTAXington!

Re: First Trip on Puget Sound

I was stuck at the dock trying to shine up Nikko during our one week of sun. I have my fingers crossed that the sun will come out again in July. I'm sorry we didn't bump into each other. I would have bought you a Mac & Jack at the pub.

Re: First Trip on Puget Sound

Were you at Hope Island outside La Conner, or down in south sound?
