Re: Thanks for the warm welcome,

Bentwire, no one is digging in on you. I wasn`t anyhow. Put down your guns and lighten up, really. I was just following up on chrisncate`s Nigerian comment which I found was funny. I get those emails all the time too. Telephone calls too which is when I love to have my revenge. I string them along for a long time chatting just wasting their time like they waste mine, but I know that they are paying for the call.

If I were to dig on you I`d say something like "Luckily we didn`t say anything about the dirty knife" in hopes that any Monty Python fans (the supposed offended brits) would understand it and chime in and if YOU didn`t get the pun, so much the better.

jimgo said it best earlier about not agreeing with everyones opinion. I seek advice in here to use it as a sounding board and to learn something new so I can sail better which makes me look better in front of my 12 yr old daughter only until I crack my head on the boom which makes her giggle non-stop all day long.

What did you mean not understanding certain cultures? This is a forum with sailors from all over the world. Coming in to any forum with your guns blazing won`t make you any friends here. You can expect the opposite.

Good luck with sailnet Bentwire. I`m finished with adding more.

This is the best welcome I have ever read!

We should also add, "please post some stock sailing photos of yourself as a sock puppet, alter ego, or other invented personality..."

Well... hi! Welcome (again)

What is your favorite pistol caliber and anchor type (and more importantly, why?)?

Re: Thanks for the warm welcome,

Welcome!

Just to join the game, our 357 Dan Wesson is really cool, but I have to say my 45/70 Marlin lever action guide gun is my co pilot.

Anchors....Mantus (I'm from Texas originally so gotta go with the home team)
